Punjab News: A Punjab police constable shot himself with his service revolver. Let us tell you that the constable shot himself in the Red Stone Hotel located in Mohali Phase-9. On learning about this, the hotel staff immediately reached the employee’s room and found him covered in blood.
According to sources, the hotel staff took Hauldar to Sector-32 GMCH Chandigarh, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Ashwani resident of Sector-26 Police Line Chandigarh. His father Ishwar is also an ASI in Chandigarh Police and is currently working in Sector-19 police station.
According to available information, Constable Ashwani had called before committing suicide. He told the phone attendant that he was going to commit suicide. Ashwini was very upset about something. He must have called relatives late at night.
However, the Mohali police is interrogating Ashwani’s family to find out from her phone call records, who she last called and what she was upset about.
Police investigation revealed that Ashwani was the only son of the family. He got married about 7 years ago. He left behind his parents, wife and 6-year-old daughter. Family experts learned that Ashwani was present in Sector-26 on the morning of 10 May. He also met some people. After that he left home saying that he was going on duty but instead of duty he went to hotel.
