A coin of Rs 75 will be issued on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament building

The new Parliament building is going to be inaugurated on May 28. Union Finance Ministry has taken a big decision to make this occasion memorable. The Finance Ministry announced that a commemorative coin of Rs 75 will be issued to commemorate the inauguration of the new Parliament building.

The image of the new Parliament building and its name will be written on the coin. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building on May 28. According to the notification issued, the Rs 75 coin will be round in shape. The coin will have a circumference of 44 mm and 200 serrations on the edges. This commemorative coin of Rs 75 will be made by mixing four metals in which 50 per cent silver, 40 per cent copper, 5 per cent nickel and 5 per cent zinc will be exchanged. 2023 will also be written below the picture of the new Parliament building.

Ashoka Satambha da Singh and Satyameva coin will have Bharat in Devanagari script and India in English on the obverse side of the coin. In the back part, Parliament House will be written in Devanagari script in the upper line and Parliament House in English in the lower line. The design of the coin will be as per the guidelines given in the First Schedule of the Constitution.
