Bureau report : A 12-year-old girl has given birth to a child in a shameful incident in Amritsar. The family belongs to Phagwara and the girl was brought to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar after her health deteriorated. A team of doctors has been assembled to take care of the health of both the girl and the child. The Phagwara police team is investigating the matter.
The girl’s father brought her to the Baby Nanki Ward of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar on Friday. She was admitted after complaining of abdominal pain, but on examination it was found that the girl was pregnant.
In this regard, Phagwara police was called for investigation. After the morning delivery, the team of doctors contacted the Hindu Samaj Ekta Sanstha to take care of her baby. Hind Samaj Ekta office bearer Santosh Kumar said that according to the girl’s father, he has been giving medicine after stomach pain for the past 7 months, he came to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and found out that the girl was pregnant.
The girl does not live with her mother
Kumari Jyoti Dimple, a female member of the organization, talked to the victim and she told that she does not live with her mother. Two years ago she left him at home. The girl was too intimidated, so she could not tell her father about the wrongdoers. Who is doing this to the victim? Of course, the girl does not know the accused, but she will recognize him. The victim said that this incident happened to him while going to the washroom. The family is very poor, due to which they used to go outside for toilet.
The police recorded a statement
The Phagwara police have reached Amritsar and recorded the statement of the victim girl. The police started an investigation at their level. The office bearer of the family and organization has demanded to catch the accused soon.
