Santosh Kumar, office bearer of Hind Samaj Ekta, said that according to the girl’s father, he had been giving her stomach pain medicine for the past 7 months. He too came to know that the girl was pregnant only after coming to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
The victim girl told the woman member of the organization, Kumari Jyoti Dimple, that the girl’s mother does not live with them. She left him two years ago. The girl was very scared, so she could not tell her father about the accused and the wrong done to her.
The victim said that this incident happened to her while going to the toilet. The family is from a very poor family, due to which he used to go outside the house to defecate. Phagwara police reached Amritsar and recorded the statement of the victim girl. The police have started an investigation at their level. The family and office bearers of the organization have demanded that the accused be arrested soon.
