6 lakh acres of crops were destroyed in Punjab due to floods: Agriculture Minister

Punjab Cabinet Meeting: In the Punjab Cabinet meeting, there was also a special discussion about the recent floods in the state. Let it be said that during the press conference after the meeting, the Punjab Agriculture Minister said that due to floods, around 6 lakh acres of crops have been damaged in the state. Along with this, CM Mann has announced to conduct the Girdavari till August 15 so that the damage can be estimated.

Along with this, he said that there has been a loss of up to 1500 crore rupees. For this, CM Mann has also written a letter to PM Modi and demanded a package from the Centre. After the Cabinet meeting, NRI Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal, Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khundian and Finance Minister Harpal Cheema briefed the press about the meeting.
