The hearing of the case has been postponed after one of the judges of the bench got infected with corona. Earlier, the hearing of the case was to be held on Monday, April 24, but on Saturday evening, it was learned that two judges, Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Ravinder S Bhatt, would not be present during the hearing on Monday.
Therefore, the hearing has been adjourned. No date has been fixed yet for the next hearing. Apart from Justice S. Ravindra Bhatt, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice Anirudh Bose, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra have also tested positive for Corona. On the other hand, 4 judges of the constitutional bench have quarantined themselves after Justice S. Ravindra Bhatt got infected with corona virus.
