Bureau Report: Even on Monday, there is no news of relief from rain in Punjab. The situation has become bad due to rain in the entire state. The education minister of Punjab has announced the closure of all schools till July 13, along with the students, teachers and other staff have also been dismissed. On the other hand, 14 teams of NDRF are engaged in evacuating people in flood-affected areas. People in the villages are busy evacuating their families from flood-affected areas with the help of tractors. Mohali, Kharar, Chandigarh, Panchkula Tri Sitta is in bad condition. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan has arrived at the ground to take stock of Ropar, Mohali, Kharar. He has appealed to the people that there is no need to fear. Ghaggar river is around the danger mark, but the administration has kept a close eye on the situation. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has assured to give all kinds of help over the phone. The Chief Minister said that there is no need for the help of the army at present. CM Mann said that if necessary, a special Girdavari will be conducted.

On the other hand, Gulmohar society is the most affected in Kharar where vehicles have been submerged. People are trapped in their houses, there is no light in the houses. Food and water are being supplied to homes by the administration and other organizations through boats. Similar is the case with other societies formed in Mohali, Chandigarh and Kharar.

A terrible picture of the river overflowing from Panchkula’s Amaravati has come to light, the walls around the dam have been broken. Sectors 25, 26, 27 and 28 are in a bad condition due to the inflow of water from Ghaggar river. The government and the administration have appealed to the people to come out of the house only if it is absolutely necessary.
Punjab Police Academy PAP in Phillaur is also in a bad condition, water has entered. On the other hand, 250 vehicles parked in the parking lot of the golf club range have been completely submerged. Punjab police personnel are starting to take out the vehicles.
Patiala DC Sakshi Sahni is present on the ground in the flood affected area. MLAs of Patiala Constituency are also present with them. They have issued a number 0175-2311321 to help people. DC Sakshi Sahni has told that his team is keeping an eye on the big river. The river is being said to be overflowing. Many areas have been flooded. Animals are also being taken to safe places. Due to waterlogging in Gopal Colony, Sunny Enclave, people were facing problems, which is being removed. Apart from this, the administration is on full alert in 30 villages of Rajpura Sarla Kalan.
On the other hand, pictures of floods due to rain have come to light in Harta village of Hoshiarpur. Meanwhile, an Innova vehicle got stuck in the river and was pulled out with the help of a tractor. Water has flooded inside the houses. The administration is repeatedly appealing to people not to come out of their homes.
On the other hand, the situation in Fatehgarh Sahib is very bad. MLA Lakhbir Singh himself came forward with a tractor trolley to help the people and they are being taken out. The water has flooded up to 5-5 feet, people are coming out of their houses and society with the help of each other.
On the other hand, things are not looking good in Faridkot either. Many houses have been submerged in village Chahal. NDRF teams have taken over the front on the spot. People are being evicted through bots.
