1.47 crore rupees released for the repair of Ambedkar Institute building: Dr. Baljit Kaur

Minister of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Dr. Baljit Kaur said that an amount of Rs. 1 crore 47 lakh has been released for the repair and maintenance of the building of Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses at 3B-2 Mohali.

Giving more information in this regard, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses is one of the standard institutes of the state, where various quality career oriented training and courses are provided.

In this institution, continuous efforts are being made to create a conducive environment for the best learning and development of the students. Here students are provided excellent facilities in their chosen fields. With which the standard of living of economically weak people can be raised.

He said that there was a need for some repairs in the building, for which this amount has been released for immediate consideration. He directed the officials of the department to ensure transparency and quality in the renovation/maintenance works of the building of Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses and to use the funds efficiently and effectively.
