The bells of art have started echoing in two prestigious educational institutions of the capital. Youth are dancing on sound, light and dance-music. BIT Mesra and XISS have become its witnesses. XISS’s annual youth festival Panash-23 began with a runathon at 5 am on Thursday. As the day progressed, the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the youth increased. Engaged in the preparation of presentations with the passion of victory. College song was presented in traditional and Indian art-skills at BIT Mesra’s Beatotsav.

Chorus in Antakshari and Live Band
The students of XISS presented a song of tunes. A confluence of East and Western music was seen in Antakshari. Indian tradition in fashion show
The fashion show in Panache was also the center of attraction. Indian Wedding Collection was presented by the students of Fashion Department of St. Xavier’s College. From engagement, mehndi, sangeet to wedding, the model walked the ramp with the couple. At the same time, the magic of fashion was spread by presenting Kukhena, the traditional tribal dress of Jharkhand in the latest design. The biggest attraction was the ramp walk based on Durgotsav theme.
Food Fest and Open Mic
Special platters of street food were decorated at the food fest. On the other hand, the youth showed talent in the open mic. In the scavenger hunt, the team from St. Xavier’s College stood first, Team Arcturus came second and Team Rocket from XISS stood third. In the Rangoli competition, the youth engraved the social issue. In this, Pranjali, Priyanshu Sharma, Sarvesh Gupta and Riddhima Dwivedi of Marwari College became the winners. Viplav Kumar, Kumar Sanket and Shambhavi were the winners in Open Mic.
Youth Fest teaches to adapt to circumstances: Dr. Joseph Marianus
XISS Director Dr. Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ said that we have learned the skill of adapting to time and circumstances. This will provide learning in management and professional life. With the passage of time, the students keep moving in the direction of development by improving their skills. Enthusiasm are the two basic principles of life, by which a person can make himself superior, humble and enthusiastic.
Beatotsav begins with Heritage Night
Late evening at BIT Mesra, Beatotsav-23 started with Heritage Night at GP Birla Auditorium. The chief guest was Higher and Technical Education Secretary Rahul Kumar Purwar. He said that the Youth Festival is a platform for creativity. Continuous artistic ability grows. By being a part of this, students can learn to overcome the complexities and challenges of life with patience. Special guest IIM Ranchi Director Deepak Srivastava said that by involving yourself in this three-day festival, you can develop the qualities of a leader. VC Dr. Indranil Manna, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Bhaskar Karan etc. were present on this occasion.
Dhvani, Dance Club and Ehsaas Club presented cultural programs at Heritage Night. The dance club presented Jhumar and Paika dance showcasing the rich and diverse culture of Jharkhand. The students of Dhvani Club performed ghazals. In the Kavi Sammelan, Shyamanand Jha and Shambhu Shikhar tickled the audience a lot. Comedian Shambhu Shikhar made the audience laugh with his sarcasm based on the present educational environment, government’s policy and life’s upheavals.
Competition will start from today
On the second day of Beatotsav, competitions from different clubs will start from Friday. Students from various educational institutions across the country will participate in it. In the late evening there will be a musical and festive night.
