Loneliness eats away at a man, but perhaps one Argentine man loves being alone so much that he lives away from everyone, even his family, in a city that has been reduced to ruins after 25 years of flooding. . People have started to consider this city as the abode of ghosts. For this reason, this person is considered as 'the loneliest man in the world'. We are talking about Pablo Novak who is 93 years old and living alone.

Pablo lives in a town called Apecuen, which is 400 km away from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the year 1985, there was a storm here after which the waves broke an embankment and the city was surrounded by water and swamp for a long time. You will be surprised to know that this place was once an important tourist spot. About 5000 people used to live here but due to water all of them left this city.

In the year 2009, when the water level came down and the weather improved, it was seen what the condition of this place has become. Ruined houses were left all around and broken trees and debris were lying around. Then Pablo came back here to live with his cattle. He made a dilapidated house his home, which also had a garden outside. Their new house is small and full of mud. They have chairs, bundles of newspapers and live without electricity. He was the only one who returned here. His family also did not support him and he went to live in another nearby town. Now they live here with their livestock and pet dog.
