Punjab News. A case of a woman attacking Granthi Singh with weapons has come to light in Jalandhar’s Ammar Nagar Gurughar Sachkhand Sahib. One finger of Granthi Singh has been cut off in this attack. To avoid the attack, Granthi Singh made a lot of efforts to escape, but the woman continued to run behind him to attack him. The CCTV footage of the entire incident has also surfaced, in which the woman is seen attacking Granthi Singh with a sword.

After Granthi Singh shouted, the people standing outside controlled the woman and saved her life and also handed over the woman to the police. The accused woman was identified as Jasmin Kaur, wife of Davinder, resident of Babu Labh Singh Nagar.

In the case, Granthi Harvinder Singh son of Makhan Singh has accused the accused woman of indecency. Granthi Singh said that Jasmin Kaur came to the Gurughar and Achanar started picking up weapons. When they stopped him from indecency, he attacked them. He said that his finger was cut due to the attack by the woman.

Police officials have said that on the complaint of Granthi Singh, the accused woman has been arrested and action is being taken against her under Section 295A of the IPC. According to the information provided by the police officials, the woman originally hails from village Bhogpur in Patiala.
