Ludhiana Husband and wife died due to snake bite. The deceased couple lived with their children in a dairy in Threike village. A snake entered the dairy last night. Here, a husband and wife were bitten by a snake while sleeping with their little son in the room. The woman screamed after being bitten by the snake.
Dairy owners living nearby and people from the neighborhood got together. People took the couple to the hospital. During the treatment, it was found that the person died on the spot. While the woman died during treatment in the hospital. The deceased have been identified as Sushil Paswan and Lalitha Devi.
The couple has four children. At the time of the incident, three children were sleeping on the roof while one child was sleeping with them. Police station Sadar has sent the bodies to Civil Hospital for post-mortem. ASI Avtar Singh, who is investigating the case, said that the deceased are residents of Bihar.
The couple along with their four children were living in the dairy as Sushil had been working in the dairy for the past two years. The ASI said that the four children are safe and are currently being cared for by the dairy owner. Relatives of the couple also live in Ludhiana. After the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the heirs
