According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, Chandigarh received 4 mm, Amritsar 17.6, Ludhiana 13.8, Pathankot 5.6, Gurdaspur 12.5, Nawan Shahr 3, Barnala 1.5, Ferozepur 12.5, Jalandhar 16.5, Mohali 2.5 and Ropar 2.5 mm. Meteorologists have predicted bad weather again in Punjab from October 13. He said that due to western disturbance, the weather may turn bad from October 13 to 16.

A slight drop in temperature has also been recorded due to rains in the state last night. During 24 hours due to rain, maximum temperature has dropped by 2 to 4 degree Celsius and minimum temperature by 2 to 5 degree Celsius has been recorded in the state. Powercom has also breathed a sigh of relief due to the drop in temperature in the state. With the change in the mood of the weather, the demand for electricity has also decreased in the state. The demand for electricity in the state has been recorded at around 8 to 10 thousand megawatts.
