Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with all the departments to finalize the preparations for the ‘Invest Punjab Summit’ to be held at the Indian School of Business on February 23 and 24, 2023.
Presiding over a meeting at his official residence here today, the Chief Minister asked the officials to ensure adequate arrangements for the grand event which will be attended by industrial giants from across the country as well as the world. He said that the authorities should leave no stone unturned to make this event a success. Bhagwant Mann also discussed the outline of technical sessions to be held on various topics during the conference.
The Chief Minister expressed the hope that this convention will help in ensuring comprehensive industrial development of the state which will take the state to the heights of progress. He said that Investment Punjab will take full advantage of this opportunity to promote Punjab as the most preferred destination among domestic and global investors. Bhagwant Mann told the officials that arrangements should also be made for the leading entrepreneurs of the state to have direct talks with the delegates coming from the country and abroad.
The Chief Minister asserted that this would help to further explore the possibilities of technical cooperation along with technical discussions on setting up industrial units in various sectors. He said that ‘Brand Punjab’ should be raised properly before the global industry coming to the state to participate in the Investment Punjab Summit.
Bhagwant Mann expressed the hope that this conference will help to show the vast potential of the state in the industrial sector to the world. He said that it is the need of the hour to make the state the industrial hub of the country so as to boost economic activities and create employment opportunities for the youth.
