WhatsApp Launches New APP for Smartwatches: Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp has released a new update after which users will be able to reply to any WhatsApp message right from their smartwatch. They will not even need to touch the phone.

This new update will work with Android smartwatches running Wear OS 3. After this update, you will be able to chat with any WhatsApp user and send emoji, text and voice messages from your smartwatch.
After this update, you will also be able to receive calls, but for that, your smartwatch must have LTE support. This new feature of WhatsApp can be seen on Android version 2.23.14.81 of WhatsApp.
Regarding Wear OS, in May this year, Google said that it is updating the app, after which, apart from Gmail, Calendar and Home, third party apps like WhatsApp, Peloton and Spotify will also be supported with the smartwatch.
