Ludhiana : A Punjabi from Lubangar village of Machiwara has died a painful death in Italy. Young Avtar Singh was 40 years old. He used to work as a mason. He was working in a building. Suddenly his foot slipped and he fell down from the third floor. He was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition, but he died on the way.
The body has been kept in the hospital for post-mortem. Avtar Singh lived with his wife and child in Mentua, Italy. After receiving the notification of his death, there is a mourning atmosphere in the village.
Went to Italy 10 years ago in search of employment
Avtar Singh’s father Bahadur Singh said that he is a farmer and his village has very little agriculture. Avatar went to Italy 10 years ago. He went to Italy due to not getting employment in Punjab. Last year he came to India to meet him. He was the only son of the family. Whenever he came to the village, he used to mingle with all the people.
The funeral will be held in the father’s village
Avatar’s wife and 2-year-old children lived with him in Italy. His friends are trying to bring Avatar’s body to Italy. He will be cremated in the village itself.
