However, there is not much difference in daytime temperatures. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature has dropped by 2.8 degrees during the last 24 hours. Light rain may occur over East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Rayalaseema.
According to the Skymet weather report, light to moderate and moderate to heavy rains are expected over several parts of Maharashtra, Odisha and Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. If we talk about the forecast, there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in Sikkim. Apart from this, light to moderate rain is likely to occur in South-West Madhya Pradesh, South Gujarat and South-East Rajasthan.

Due to the rain that has been falling for the last 1-2 days, a flood-like situation has arisen in many districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has also issued orange alert in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Goda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj districts on Wednesday. People here have been asked to beware of heavy rains, the weather department has advised people living near streams and rivers to be alert.
