Addressing a public meeting in Assam on Sunday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann targeted the BJP-Congress and said that we do not do business after coming to power like the leaders of other parties, we do the work of public welfare and development. do He said that the people of a state whose king is a businessman are beggars.

He said that BJP and Congress ruled together in Assam for the first five years. Now here also people have an option of an honest and good party in the form of Aam Aadmi Party like in Delhi and Punjab.

Stating the achievements of his government, Mann said that we have completely eradicated corruption from Punjab. We launched an anti-corruption helpline number to nab the corrupt, following which action was taken against more than 500 corrupt officers, employees and leaders. Now there is a fear in the minds of the corrupt.

We made electricity free in Punjab. Today, more than 90% of households have zero electricity bills. We had given a guarantee in Punjab that mohalla clinics would be opened in every village when the government was formed. Within a year, we opened more than 500 mohalla clinics. Apart from this, we have given government jobs to 28,472 youth of Punjab within a year.

Mann said that BJP people talk about hatred. We talk about schools and hospitals. Arvind Kejriwal has revamped Delhi’s government schools and created international level schools. In Punjab too, we have started re-imagining schools. Now the children of private schools are enrolling in government schools by removing their name from there. Today, children of government schools in Delhi are becoming doctors, engineers, lawyers and senior officers.

Bharatiya Janata Party is scared of Delhi’s education and health revolution. That is why they framed Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendra Jain in false cases and put them in jail.

Mann targeted Prime Minister Modi and said that Narendra Modi used to sell tea at the railway station in his childhood. After the formation of the government, the railway was sold. They may have forgotten that in a democracy the public can bring anyone from the throne to the floor.

Chief Minister Mann appealed to the people of Assam to give Aam Aadmi Party a chance. We will bring change here like Delhi and Punjab. We will transform schools and hospitals and eradicate corruption completely.
