He said that the Water Resources Department has settled 3222 cases of canal water disputes in the last 9 months.

A total of 5025 cases were pending with the department, now the remaining 1614 cases will also be disposed of soon. The water resources department had pending cases of farmers’ canal water disputes for many years. Many cases were pending for decades.

By prioritizing this work, a large number of applications from farmers regarding such cases have been identified by the Water Resources Department and efforts have been made to settle them on a priority basis.
