The Chandigarh administration has issued orders regarding the firing of firecrackers on Diwali and Gurpurab. According to the orders, firecrackers are allowed to be fired only for 2 hours on Diwali.
That means people will be able to fire crackers only from 8 pm to 10 pm. On the other hand, only green firecrackers have been allowed in the orders.
Firecrackers can be fired only for two hours on Gurpurab. Firecrackers can be fired only from 4 am to 5 am and from 8 pm to 9 pm. Firecrackers can be fired only 100 meters away from the silent zone. Violation of the order Strict action will be taken against those.
