Vigilance has caught the store in charge of Civil Supply Corporation in Hamirpur, Himachal red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 5000. The contractor was supposed to get cement from this store for government work, but for the last few days, the store in-charge was refusing to give cement. The contractor informed the vigilance in this regard and laid a trap to control him.
Vigilance took this action late on Friday evening. Vigilance also knows the complicity of another partner. An investigation is also going on about this. The accused will be produced in court today.
Vigilance ASP Renu Sharma said that on receiving the information, the team reached the civil supply store and caught the store in-charge Neil Kamal red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5000. He said that the action in this matter is ongoing. More information will be obtained from the accused by taking remand from the court.
