Bareilly. There has been a fierce ruckus in Anandpur alias Bhagwantapur village of Puranpur police station area of Pilibhit district regarding Sadhan Cooperative Society elections. Stone pelting, swords have gone along with the firing. In this, more than a dozen people were injured, while SP-BJP supporters created a lot of ruckus over fake voting at Ahmedabad Sadhan Cooperative Society of Nawabganj tehsil of Bareilly district. Supporters of former SP government minister Bhagwat Sharan Gangwar and BJP MLA Dr. MP Arya clashed with each other over bogus voting. There was a lot of pushing and shoving between the two. However, the police pacified the matter. Along with this, each other complained about the election. Former minister Bhagwat Sharan Gangwar accused the BJP of misusing power.
Election is going on for the post of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Resource Cooperative Societies in Uttar Pradesh. There was an election between BJP supported Ramdas and Surendra Singh Gangwar on Sadhan Sahakari Samiti Ahmedabad of Nawabganj area of Bareilly Dehat. A total of 9 voters had to vote here in the election. But, each other accused of bogus voting. It is told that when Ramdas reached to cast his vote, he came to know that the vote has been cast. Due to this, the supporters of the BJP-backed candidate gathered. He alleged bogus voting. There was a lot of argument. Both the former minister and the BJP MLA were sitting on their chairs with their supporters. Everyone including the SDM reached on the information of this dispute. Earlier, there had been a scuffle in Ahmedabad on Saturday as well.
Election of Ahmedabad-Makarandapur Instrument Cooperative Society postponed
Elections of Ahmedabad, Nawabganj of Bareilly and Makrandapur committee of Bhojipura have been postponed. This information was given by Election Officer Ashish Pratap Singh. He told that in the Makarandapur committee, four candidates had become each other’s proponents. Election Commission Election Commission will conduct elections here.
Election of chairman and deputy chairman in 140 resource cooperative societies completed
In 140 out of 142 resource cooperative societies of the district, the election for the post of chairman and deputy chairman along with the board of directors has been completed. However, the elections could not be held in Ahmedabad and Makarandapur of Bareilly district. The Election Commission will conduct the election here. Elections are held every 5 years for the post of the Board of Directors and Vice-Chairman in the committees.
SP organization was not visible
Elections of resource cooperative societies are going on in Bareilly district. However, no preparation was done by the Samajwadi Party’s organization regarding the elections. Election is almost over. But the organization was nowhere to be seen. The office-bearers of the SP organization were not visible even during the scuffle between SP and BJP supporters at Nawabganj’s Ahmedabad Society.
