VFS Global Will Continue to Provide Visa & Residence Permit Services for Norway in 52 Countries

VFS Global, the worldโ€™s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions, has been awarded the tender to provide visa and residence permit services on behalf of Norway.

The tender was awarded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and under this agreement, VFS Global will be responsible for providing visa and residence permit services for Norway in all regions worldwide, more specifically in a total of 52 countries, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

VFS Global has been working with Norway to provide such services since 2014, and since then, the company has handled almost 1.5 million visa and residence permit applications on behalf of the country.

Commenting on the long partnership and the renewal of their agreement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway said that they look forward to continuous professional cooperation.

The same stressed that both parties are making sure to carry out their duties with full responsibility.

The Head of Business Development at VFS Global, Chris Dix, also commented on the matter. He said that the company is thrilled to continue providing visa and residence permit services on behalf of Norway.

Dix further emphasised that VFS Global will make sure that applicants go through a seamless application procedure when applying for a Norwegian Schengen Visa or residence permit.

The list of counties where visa and residence permit services will continue to be provided by VFS Global on behalf of Norway, among many others, includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Tรผrkiye, United Arab Emirates, the UK, and the US.

In addition to the above-mentioned, services will be provided in another 38 countries whose citizens need a Schengen visa in order to be permitted entry into Norway and the other Schengen Member States.

VFS Global is responsible for only collecting the required documents. The decision to approve or reject a visa or residence permit application is made by the Norwegian embassy or consulate.
