Vaccination campaign started by Punjab government to protect Goudhan from lumpy skin disease

Punjab Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is starting a large-scale vaccination campaign to protect cattle from lumpy skin disease from February 25. Under which all the cows of the state will be vaccinated free of cost.

The Cabinet Minister said that for vaccination, the state has purchased 25 lakh doses of Goat Pox vaccine from the Telangana State Veterinary Biological and Research Institute, Hyderabad at a cost of Rs 78.75 lakh.
