US: 17 arrested in Gurdwara shooting case, machine gun and AK-47 recovered

US: The police have conducted a large-scale raid in connection with the shooting incident that happened last month in a Gurdwara in Sacramento, California. It has been told that raids were conducted at 20 places regarding that incident of firing. 17 people have been arrested in connection with this incident. Police recovered AK-47, machine gun and several handguns in the raid.

It has been reported that most of the people who have been arrested belong to the Sikh community. The police have taken a major action to arrest them in the Gurdwara shooting incident. California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Yuba City Police Chief Brian Baker, Sutter County District Attorney Jennifer Dupree gave this information in a joint press conference. He said that out of the 20 persons arrested, two are criminals with links to the mafia and are wanted in India in connection with the murder.

Not only that, the arrested people are associated with two rival criminal gangs. They face charges of violence, shooting and attempted murder in Sutter, Sacramento, San Volquin, Solano, Yolo and Merced counties in California. Those arrested are also responsible for the shooting at a Sikh shrine in Stockton. This incident took place on August 27 last year. Now their strings have also been connected with the shooting incident that happened on March 23 this year.
