Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal On Monday attacked the Modi government at the Center. Kejriwal said that the Delhi model of governance is a ‘corruption-free’ model and people had not seen such a system before. Kejriwal, in his address to the assembly, also took a jibe at the BJP MLAs that the universe came into existence in 2014, when the BJP came to power at the Centre.
When Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was mentioning the achievements of his government like the purchase of electric buses, some BJP MLAs interrupted by citing the role of the Center in the development of the national capital. In response, Kejriwal sarcastically said that the universe came into existence after 2014. The sun and the moon are because of you. it’s all because of you.
Delhi is now known for excellent school
Listing the achievements of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, Arvind Kejriwal said Delhi was earlier known for the Commonwealth Games and the CNG scam, but now it is known for excellent schools and hospitals. He said Delhi’s model (of governance) is corruption-free…. Delhi has the lowest inflation in the country. The Delhi model is making arrangements for world-class healthcare, transport, uninterrupted supply of electricity and water and creating a clean and modern city. It is a model that includes Hindus, Muslims, all castes, men and women. People have not seen such a model in seventy-five years.
30 percent reduction in pollution in eight years
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also said that the AAP government reduced pollution by 30 per cent in eight years, ensured uninterrupted power supply and had transmission losses of less than seven per cent, which is the ‘lowest’ in the world.
