New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2023-24 on Wednesday (February 1). The whole country was eyeing this budget by the Finance Minister, as it was the last budget of the second term of the Modi government. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has reacted to this budget. The Congress MP tweeted, “Mitra Kaal budget – no vision to create jobs, no plan to tackle inflation, no intention to remove inequality.”
He further wrote that, “1% richest own 40% wealth, 50% poorest 64% pay GST, 42% youth unemployed- yet, PM doesn’t care. This budget proves that the government has no roadmap to build India’s future.”
