A case of theft from a government school in Musapur village of Nawanshahr has come to light. The thieves broke the locks and carried out the incident. Along with this, the thieves have also carried out their crime in the gym run by the school. According to the school principal, around 5 lakh rupees have been stolen. The police have joined the investigation of the matter.

The acting principal of Nawanshahr village Musapur School said that he received information at 6.30 in the morning that there was a theft in the school late at night. The locks of the rest of the school rooms are broken. The cupboards are also broken. Apart from this, the locks of the gym in the school, which was run by the youth of the village, have also been broken.

The principal said that the thieves also stole a new container of oil kept by a company that manufactures mid-day meals for children. He also told that CCTV cameras are installed in the school. But the thieves have also taken the DVR and LCD with them.

The school has suffered a loss of around 2 lakh rupees and the gym has suffered a loss of around 3 lakh rupees. A complaint has been filed with the police. The police say that after investigating the matter, the accused will be arrested soon.
