Australia has shattered India's dream of winning the World Cup for the third time in 8 months. After the World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup, now Australia has defeated India by 79 runs in the final of the U-19 World Cup. In the final match played in Benoni, South Africa on Saturday, Australia defeated India by a big margin and the dream of Team India, which was performing brilliantly under the captaincy of Uday Saharan, was shattered.

Australia won the World Cup trophy after 14 years by defeating India by 79 runs. Australia scored 253 runs while batting first in this match, in response to which the Indian team was all out for 174 runs and lost the final match. This is the first defeat of Team India in this World Cup but this defeat was also in the final match.

India's batting was a flop

In this big final match, the batting of Team India was completely under pressure and flopped. Team India's first wicket fell in the third over and after that every batsman got out after some time and went away. Only Adarsh โ€‹โ€‹Singh became the top batsman for India with 47 runs.

While the three batsmen who scored the most runs for India in this World Cup, Uday Saharan, Mushir Khan and Sachin Dhasa failed in the final match. In the final, Mushir Khan was out after scoring 22 runs, Uday Saharan after scoring 8 runs and Sachin Das after scoring 9 runs and along with this the dream of team India to win the World Cup was also shattered.

In the end Murugan Abhishek (42) and Naman Tiwari (14) put up some fight for Team India, but the score was too big to be enough. The Indian team was all out for 174 in 43.5 overs and lost the match by 79 runs.

Who did it for Australia?

Australia have once again excelled in the World Cup finals. Except for Sam Kontas, all other batsmen performed better in the final. Sam was dismissed for just zero. Australia scored 253/7 in the final match and the reason for their success was that 4 of the top 6 batsmen scored more than 40 runs.

Harjas Singh played the biggest innings for Australia and scored 55 runs off 64 balls. Apart from these, Harry Dixon scored 42 runs, Hugh Wybgen scored 48 runs, Ryan Hicks scored 20 runs and Oliver Peak scored 46 runs. For India, Raj Limbani took 3 wickets and Naman Tiwari took 2 wickets, besides Soumya Pandey, who performed well throughout the tournament, also took 1 wicket and Mushir Khan also took 1 wicket.
