The Punjab Cabinet is going to be expanded for the fourth time today. Bhagwant Mann is going to include Kartarpur MLA Balkar Singh and Lambi MLA Gurmeet Singh Khudiya in his cabinet. Governor Banwari Lal Purohit will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the two new ministers today at 11 am on Wednesday.
While two new ministers are being inducted into the cabinet, one cabinet minister has resigned from his post. Local Government Minister Inderbir Singh Nijhar has submitted his resignation to Bhagwant Mann due to personal reasons. Which has been forwarded by the Chief Minister to the Governor for further approval.
After the approval, time was taken from the Governor to take oath of the new ministers. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal will also come to Chandigarh today. He will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers.
