A case of two little girls falling and drowning while plucking guavas on the banks of the Tangri river near village Budhmore, just 10 km from Devigarh, has come to light. They are being searched for.

According to information, two girls Manju Devi (11) daughter of Gurmeet Singh and Mandeep Kaur (9) daughter of Kuldeep Singh of village Budhmore went with their grandfather around 10:30 in the morning. who went to cut grass for cattle from the bank of Tangri river, there was a guava plant on the bank of the river.

From which these girls climbed up and started breaking guavas and suddenly fell into the deep water of the river due to slipping of their feet. This was reported to police post Rohar Jagir. On which police station chief Julkan Harjinder Singh Dhillon, outpost in-charge Suba Singh Sandhu, Gurpratap Singh and other police personnel reached the spot.

As soon as the information about this incident was received, MLA of Sannour Constituency Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra also reached the place of the incident and talked to the victim’s family. On this occasion, he immediately contacted Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni and asked for divers to save the girls.

Who immediately sent a team of divers to the incident site. Apart from this, a trap has been placed on the bridge near Kuppian village, Haryana. On this occasion, SDM Dudhansadhan Kripalveer Singh also arrived, who assured to give all help to the family to get the girl child out.
