After the controversy, a statement has also come out from the family. Family members say that they have a court order for this marriage. Head Registrar Hardev Singh said that he organized the Anand function after seeing the approval of the court. He said that he did not know that this matter would reach such heights and now he is admitting his mistake. He said that before this, a girl had been molested by another girl in another place and there was no quarrel even then. So he bowed down at Gurdwara Sahib.
