Patiala: Two brothers have died in a road accident in Patiala city. While the elder brother’s wife, who was badly injured in the accident, is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. In the accident, his uncle Amarjit Singh died on the spot, while Basant Singh and Paramjit Kaur, who were driving the car, were seriously injured. They were immediately admitted to the hospital. Basant Singh also died during the treatment there, while Paramjit Kaur was referred to Patiala. Where he is currently operating. The combine driver, identified as Shivji Kumar, has also been injured in the accident. The police have registered a case against the accused combine driver.
Young couple died in another accident
In the second case, a young couple died in a road accident near Paharipur village under Sadar Patiala police station. After the incident, the accused truck driver escaped from the spot. According to the complaint given to the police by Guramritpal Singh, a resident of Arno village, his cousin Gurbej Singh was passing near Paharipur village on a motorcycle with his wife Balwinder Kaur. Meanwhile, the driver of the speeding truck hit them while driving the vehicle carelessly. Both died on the spot in the accident.
The death of an elderly motorcycle rider
In the third case, an elderly resident of Haryana died in a road accident near village Dharmeri under Pasiana police station. According to the statement given to the police by son Rahul Vaid, a resident of village Salempur Gamdi, district Kaithal, Haryana, his father Karamveer Vaid had gone to Droli village on a motorcycle. After some time, he received a phone call that an unknown vehicle had hit his father near village Dharmeri and he had died.
Elderly died in an accident while crossing the road
In the fourth case, an elderly person who went to Nirankari Bhavan died in an accident while crossing the road. According to the complaint filed by Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of District Alwar, Rajasthan, to Police Station City Samana, his uncle Jamandar Singh was hit by a speeding car while crossing the road outside Nirankari Bhawan, Patiala Road, Samana. Due to which he fell on the road and was crushed by a bus coming from behind. In the accident, Jamandar Singh died on the spot.
