The news of the death of a young man has come to light in Amritsar. A youth was shot at last night. Immediately after the incident, the young man was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors declared him brought dead. The police are now checking the CCTV installed in the vicinity so that no clue of the killers can be found. At night, SSP Rural Satinder Singh also reached the spot.
The incident is of Jandiala Guru of Amritsar. The deceased has been identified as Jandiala Guru resident Ravi. At around 8.45 pm, Ravi went to Brand Cut Salon in Sheikhpura area of Jandiala to get cutting done. There, the 2 accused who fired bullets were already present in the shop. Both had weapons in their hands. The accused started firing. About 6 shots were fired.
After the shots were fired, there was chaos after which the accused managed to escape from there. Currently, the police have taken possession of the body and started the investigation. SSP Satinder Singh, who reached the spot, said that there is a possibility that the assailant knew the deceased beforehand and may have called him over the phone. The case is being investigated. The police are examining the CCTV footage to get some clues about the attackers.
About 10 days ago, Ramsharan Baba, a resident of Mohalla Satwar, was killed by firing 5 bullets at Jandiala Guru’s Mohalla Satwar at 12 o’clock in the night. After carrying out the incident, the assailants escaped from the spot. At the time the incident took place, the deceased was parking his car outside the house and his daughter was also with him.
