Tomorrow, Monday, July 17, all schools in Punjab will open as usual: Minister Harjot Bains

All the schools in Punjab were closed till July 16 due to the heavy impact of floods in Punjab. Now after the improvement of the situation, all the schools will open again as usual from tomorrow. Minister Harjot Bains tweeted that all the Deputy Commissioners of the state It is directed that they will coordinate with the Panchayat, Education, Local Government, Irrigation, Public Works or other departments to ensure that the buildings of Government/Aided/Recognised and Private schools are free from child safety hazards.

The heads and management committees of all the schools are also instructed to ensure that the school buildings are safe for the students at their level today and they will be responsible for all kinds of safety of the students.
If any school or locality is flooded or any school building is damaged, the Deputy Commissioners of the respective districts will declare a holiday only in those schools.
