Drug Recovered: Being a border area, Pakistan is trying to send drug shipments sometimes through drones and sometimes through water, but due to the promptness of BSF, Pakistan’s nefarious tactics are constantly failing.
Amritsar STF has arrested three smugglers along with 41 kg of heroin while conducting a major operation in Ramdas sector on Indo-Pak border. The accused had ordered a shipment of drugs through the Ravi river, which was to be supplied further. But even before that STF nabbed them based on information.
According to the information, the STF received information about 41 kg of heroin reaching India through the Ravi river on Tuesday night. Immediately after which a team was formed under the leadership of AIG, STF. This team conducted a raid in Ramdas sector on Tuesday night and arrested three youths of the same village and recovered 41 kg of heroin.

However, the departmental officials are refraining from giving information in this regard. It is being told that this information has been given to DGP Gaurav Yadav. Very soon the STF officials will hold a press conference in this regard.
Recently, in a joint search operation in Ferozepur sector, BSF and Counter Intelligence recovered 29 kg of heroin, which was used by Pakistani smugglers to be sent to Indian smugglers by putting tires in drums through Sutlej river.
