Amritsar: The incidents of robberies and shootings are increasing in the state due to which the law and order situation of the common people is rising. In Amritsar, once again the incident of robbery has been carried out. Like the recent robbery incident near Mehta Chowk, this too was carried out by three masked men at gunpoint. The robbery took place at the Verka booth located in the park, just 100 meters away from Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh’s house.

According to the information received, this incident took place around 5 am. Vehicles carrying milk supply from the Verka Milk Plant arrived at the Verka booth at Green Avenue Park. Meanwhile, three masked men reached there on a motorcycle.

One was sitting on a motorcycle, just then two got off the motorcycle and surrounded the person who was unloading the milk supply. One showed a pistol and the other asked to remove everything from the pocket. Repeated threats were made to shoot the seller in the leg.

At gunpoint, the robbers stole Rs 8,000 cash from the sale of milk. Along with this, the gold ring in the ear and the silver bangle in the hand were also removed. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of the civil line police station started investigating the matter. Action is being taken on the basis of CCTV cameras. The CCTV cameras installed in the area are also being searched so that some information can be obtained from the movement of the robbers and the motorcycle.
