While on the basis of the report of the 22nd Law Commission, the central government wants to implement it.

Intellectuals were consulted

President Dhami said that before taking the decision, the internal committee had sought the opinion of Sikh intellectuals, historians and organizations, all of them rejected it in one voice. He said that Sikhs have always been fighting for their separate identity and have ensured that no one interferes in it. We feel that the language of the Sikhs, the culture of the Sikhs, the theoretical existence of the Sikhs will not be tolerated in any way. Apart from this, the SGPC president said that the constitution also reflects the principle of unity in diversity. So the interning committee after discussion with intellectuals rejects it completely. The Shiromani Committee said that if this is implemented, it will be a violation of the rights of the country’s minorities and their identity.

‘Langar is not a scam, it is a shortcoming’

Dhami said that 53 employees have been suspended during the initial investigation in this case. And now a 5-member committee is investigating it thoroughly, on the basis of which action will be taken on the basis of the report.

The committee will fight the case of 1984 genocide

Therefore, SGPC has appointed 2 lawyers for this in which Kamana Vohra and Naginder Singh have been given the rights to fight the case.
