It is alleged that Lakshay Verma, owner of BMS Fashion on Lam Pind Road along with his brother and friends opened fire. Rajini, the owner of the house where the shooting took place, alleged that Lakshay Verma was encroaching on her shops. He asks them for the papers of the land on which the shops are located. He often quarreled over this matter. Lakshay was drinking with his friends and brother Pratham Verma around 12:30 pm. First abused and then started firing.

The woman’s son alleged that he also called the police station division number-8 but the police station in-charge told him to come in the morning. Family members said that later he also came but went back from the spot without taking any action. He also showed bullet marks on the wall of the house. The police have also recovered the casings of the bullets.
