Telangana: AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal today met the Chief Minister of Telangana with the aim of mobilizing the opposition and garnering support against the notification issued by the central government. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was also with him.

Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has said in his address that in a republic elected people take decisions and not selected, the governor is selected while the government is elected by the people. Government of Delhi as well as other states are also harassed. Mann also mentioned that the governor did not give permission regarding the budget session.

Mann has said that this kind of behavior with elected governments is against democracy. In his old opinion, Maan tightened his grip that we were not going to take a photo in the meeting of Niti Aayog, we did not get what we asked for last year and what was our right, what was there to do?

Mann also praised the Chief Minister of Telangana for providing financial assistance to the families of martyred farmers during the farmers’ struggle.

Addressing the press conference, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has claimed that the Chief Minister of Telangana has assured him that he will be given full support to provide justice to the people of Delhi. He said that before the coming of the AAP government in Delhi, there was a government of Sheila Dikshit, but later in 2015, the powers of the Delhi government were limited by issuing a notification. After which, after 8 years, the Supreme Court decided in favor of the people of Delhi, but these rights were taken away by bringing a notification within 8 days.

Non-BJP governments across the country are harassed through the Governor and ED-CBI. If the country is to be run in the same way, then only one prime minister and 21 governors should run the country, what is the need to elect state governments?

Kejriwal has appealed to the opposition not to allow this bill to pass when it comes to the Rajya Sabha. BJP does not have majority in Rajya Sabha. In the Rajya Sabha, the BJP has only 94 against 238 MPs. Due to which, if all the non-BJP opponents can come together and stop this bill from being passed. He said that it will be the semi-final of 2024 in a way.
