We all know that diabetes is a lifestyle related disease and in this condition the level of sugar in the blood i.e. blood sugar level increases. But if the lifestyle is corrected, then blood sugar can be eliminated from it. A research by NCBI has claimed that if some medicinal leaves are chewed, blood sugar can be controlled by increasing the production of insulin.

These are 3 magic leaves

1. Aloe vera leaves-There would hardly be anyone in India who does not know Aloe Vera. Aloe vera is considered a special medicinal plant in India. Now this has also been proved in a research by NCBI i.e. American National Center for Biotechnology Information. According to the NCBI report, aloe vera has hypoglycemic properties. That is, it has the ability to reduce blood sugar. Eating aloe vera leaves on an empty stomach in the morning can increase the production of insulin, which can automatically control blood sugar.

2. Custard apple leaves-(Annona squamosa)-Sharif is a very tasty fruit but its leaves are also no less amazing. According to NCBI research, custard apple leaves have anti-diabetic properties. Sharifa leaves have photoconstituent properties due to which it helps in increasing the amount of insulin in the pancreas. Along with this, it lowers blood sugar with hypoglycemic ability.

3. Neem leaves of(Azadirachta indica)-Neem is commonly known by people as having anti-fungal, anti-bacterial properties, but it has been proved in NCBI research that neem leaves can also control diabetes. Chewing neem leaves early in the morning does not increase the amount of sugar in the blood and the pancreas does its work properly, due to which insulin is produced through a natural process. Many such compounds have been found in neem leaves which help in controlling blood sugar.
