The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday that heavy to very heavy rains are forecast to continue over east, northeast and east central India during the next 4-5 days. The Meteorological Agency has predicted light to moderate rain over North West India on August 2. While Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and East Rajasthan will receive light to moderate rain. Heavy rain is also likely at different places.
