Now a young man from a military family of this village has taken this tradition of his family and village forward. Who has joined the army not in India but in the land of Canada. Young Jaideep Singh has become an army officer in Canada. After which, upon reaching the native village of Khokhar Faujian, the family received a warm welcome. Along with this, the youth was also honored by the ex-servicemen of the village.

The nearby village of Batala, Khokhar Faujian, is also known as the village of Faujian and the native village of Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi. Jaideep Singh from here has made the name of the state and the district famous by joining the Canadian Army as a lieutenant. About this, Jaideep said that when he went to Canada with his parents in 2010, he was very young and since then he had the desire to join the army after seeing the soldiers in his family and village. He had other opportunities to work in Canada but he set his sights on joining the army.

Along with Jaideep, his mother from Canada also reached the village with her son. On this occasion, the family welcomed him. Jaideep’s mother said that what her son had chosen was his own wish and she also supported her son fully. There, Jaideep’s uncle Punjab Police officer Bhagat Singh and other former army officers of the village honored Jaideep. He said that it is a matter of great pride for him that even abroad, the name of his village has been established by Jaideep as the village of soldiers.
