The wait of raw teachers of Punjab will end today…

The 10-year-old demand for contract/raw teachers in Punjab will be fulfilled today. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will issue orders to regularize the services of around 12500 raw teachers today. This will end the wait of teachers who have been waiting for a job for almost ten years. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has given information about this decision of CM Bhagwant Mann via tweet.

Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann himself has also made a statement about regularizing the jobs of contract/temporary teachers of Punjab. In this regard, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has also released a video on his Twitter account. He said that all temporary teachers will be given regularization letters. said that Bhagwant Mann had formed a cabinet sub-committee as soon as he took oath as the chief minister. Along with this, preparations will be made to regularize the officers as temporary teachers.

Teachers will be honored
Education Minister Bains said that today 28th July has come to regularize raw teachers. He said that historical changes are coming in the lives of teachers who have contributed a lot in the schools of Punjab. CM Mann has instructed that along with regularizing the teachers, the school staff, children and local MLAs will respect the teachers.

New Regularization Policy of Punjab Govt
About two months ago, the Punjab government had decided to appoint ad hoc, contract based, daily wage, work charge and temporary employees in the state. For this, the state government has prepared a new policy. Under this, it was said to regularize the employees who have completed 10 years of service.

Policy conditions must be met
According to the new policy of the Punjab government, in order to appoint an employee, other conditions including educational qualification, post and experience should be fulfilled as per the service rules. The employee’s conduct during the last 10 years of service should be satisfactory. Demonetization will not be considered as a break by the government while counting the 10 year time frame.

The employees will not be part of the regular cadre
The new policy will not apply to unskilled workers other than outsourced workers. Beneficiary employees will be appointed in special cadre up to the age of 58 years. Employees will not be placed on cadre post. Employees will not be part of regular cadre as per service rules.
