Bureau report : A video of senior police officers dancing with betting accused in Amritsar has surfaced. After which the ruler policemen in Amritsar city are under question. The video is said to be from a few days ago. At present, the police have taken action against all the officials and have made the line available.
In a video, 2 DSP rank officers Sanjeev Kumar and Pravesh Chopra are seen. Both of them are posted in DSP Amritsar Ruler. Moreover, 4 SHO rank officers Dharminder Kalyan, Gurwinder Singh, Neeraj Kumar and Gagandeep Singh are also appearing in the video. DSP Sanjeev Kumar is singing the song in the video. Pravesh Chopra stands with them while the accused in the betting case passes by them. On the other hand, in the second video, SHO Gurwinder Singh is seen singing the song. Meanwhile, the accused are standing in front of them and clapping their hands to the rhythm of the song.
The suspect seen in the video is Kamal Bori, who has been accused of betting. Especially Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap had also filed cases against Kamal Bori several times while in the Punjab Police. After which Kamal Bori had to stay in jail for several months. Now he is currently out on bail.
After this video went viral, the Amritsar Police has refused to speak anything in front of the media, while on the other hand, the Punjab Police has taken action and brought the officers to the line. All of them have been removed from the respective police stations.
