Amritsar: At Lopoke police station, a husband accused his wife of killing their two-year-old daughter and demanded justice. In this regard, Hira Singh, a resident of Kakar village, the father of the deceased girl Nimrat, accused his wife Lachmi Kaur and said that it has been almost three years since our marriage.
My daughter Nimrat, who is about 2 years old, and my wife Lachmi have an illicit relationship with a boy living in our neighborhood, due to which we stopped her several times but she did not budge.
Last December 2, in the early hours of the morning, my wife Lachmi along with our entire family escaped with her lover after giving sleeping pills to the little girl Nimrat. Due to the sleeping pills, the little girl's condition worsened day by day, which was also treated but she died.
There, the mother of the deceased girl Nimrat completely denied the allegations against her. In this regard, Lopoke police station S. H. oh Yadvinder Singh said that the dead girl's body has been sent for post-mortem. Further action will be taken based on the report.
