Bureau report : In Amritsar, a case of shooting the son of Sarpanch has come to light. The injured youth has been admitted to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar. There was also a murderous attack on the injured youth’s uncle and his son. The police reached the hospital and started the operation after recording the statement of the injured youth.
Balwinder Singh, son of Sarpanch Punan Singh, has been attacked in Balladwala village of Amritsar. Injured Balwinder Singh said that the uncle and his son were attacked yesterday. The uncle was hit on the head while the uncle’s son’s wrist was cut. At night, he was returning after seeing his uncle, then he saw that some young men were standing around his house, but he went inside the house.
After some time he came out and saw that the youth was still there. He suspected that the young men were going to attack him, so he turned back. Meanwhile, Jagira, his son, Gurmeet and Bittu started chasing him along with some people and suddenly someone fired a shot which hit him.
A few days ago there was a dispute in the village
Sarpanch Punan Singh said that his son had a quarrel with the family of Jagir Singh of the village a few days ago. After which Jagir Singh’s family was constantly threatening to attack, they also informed the police.
Based on the statements of the police, action was initiated
The police team that reached Guru Nanak Dev Hospital said that the incident took place around 11 pm. The statements of the family and the injured have been recorded. Based on the investigation, action will be taken against the accused.
