The Sangrur-Delhi National Highway broke down in Punjab, there was a gap in Mansa: VIDEO

The damage caused due to floods in Punjab continues continuously. In Ferozepur, a young man was washed away in front of people’s eyes in the rapid flow of Sutlej. Everyone kept making videos of him and no one tried to save him and he lost his life. At 5 am today, a 30 feet embankment broke in Chandpura of Sardulgarh under Mansa. Due to which the surrounding areas have been filled with water rapidly. Efforts have been started to stop the flow of water from the breach.

Along with this, the Sangrur-Delhi National Highway-55, which was closed due to water for the last two days, broke down. Late at night Sultanpur Lodhi MLA Rana Inder Pratap Singh along with his workers broke the Dhusi Dam near Bharoana village. People of Salemgarh area of โ€‹โ€‹Sangrur allege that government help did not reach them.

A video from Salemgarh in Sangrur has gone viral. In which it is alleged that calls were made to various senior officials to evacuate a family caught in the flood at night but no one picked up the phone and some refused to help. Finally the family was saved with the help of DSP. This is the same place where Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had also visited in the past.
