An incident of robbery occurred in a house at 2 pm in North Seth Gali No. 6 of Bathinda, Punjab. 2 robbers took the family members hostage at knife point and looted gold ornaments, cash and mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees. While leaving, the robbers also took the Activa parked in the house. As soon as the incident came to know, a team of fingerprint experts from Kent police station along with the police of CIA 2 reached for investigation.

Rakesh Kumar, the owner of the house, said that he had gone out for some work. Only his wife Monica, mother and daughter were in the house. Who came back from a wedding function at night and fell asleep as soon as they arrived. Around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, two robbers entered his house, tied the hands and feet of the wife, daughter and mother and taped their faces. The robbers had knives in their hands.

Who robbed the women of the family by threatening to kill them. They escaped after looting thousands of rupees in cash, apart from mobile phones and laptops. The robbers also fled with his daughter’s Activa scooter. They have reported the incident to the police of Cantt police station. The police of Thana Kent reached the spot and started investigating the incident.
