Bureau Report: In Jalandhar’s Kartarpur, a case of selling lion cubs has come to light. The lion cub was being dealt on Whatsapp. As soon as the forest department came to know about it, they filed a complaint with the police. After which a case was registered against 3 accused Manish Kumar alias Lucky Kartarpur, Anmol and Deepanshu Arora, residents of Jalandhar.
Where is the lion cub? Where to get him? Where is it kept? The police and forest department have not shared any information about this. Because of this, there has been no recovery in this case. Currently, a case has been registered in the allegation of deal of lion cub on WhatsApp.
In the FIR that the police has registered on the complaint of the forest department, there is no mention whether the lion cub has been recovered or not. Apart from this, no evidence has been found for those who have been accused of selling peacocks and falcons.
Police said we are investigating
In this regard, Jalandhar DFO Vikram Chandra has said that they have not received any recovery so far. The only lead they got was that wild animals were being bought and sold. Kartarpur police had registered a complaint on this basis. The police have arrested 2 people in this case and the search is on for the others.
